Who we are

Ladybug is made by 92learns (Alan Ayoubi), registered in the Netherlands, KVK 86068040, VAT NL004193942B11, Langstwater 681, 1069 EG Amsterdam. These terms are the agreement between you and us. Write to [email protected] with any question about them.

Your work is yours

Everything you create with Ladybug belongs to you. We claim no rights over your images, video, exports, projects or presets, and we will never use your work to promote Ladybug without asking you first. Your media is processed on your device and never reaches our servers, unless you choose to publish a piece to the community or attach it to a support message.

Owning your work and being licensed to use our software are two different things. You own the output either way. Which plan you need depends on what you do with it, which is the section below.

How you may use Ladybug

Free is for personal and hobby use: learning, practising, playing, personal projects, and sharing your work for the pleasure of it. If money is not changing hands and no business is being served, Free covers you.

Commercial use needs a paid plan. That means client work, paid commissions, anything you sell, and anything made for or on behalf of a business, including your own. Advertising, marketing, branding and content made for a company all count as commercial, whether or not you are paid for that particular piece.

Some cases sit in between. Personal social posts are fine on Free, even if your account is popular. Work for a client, or content promoting a business, needs a paid plan. If you are unsure, ask us and we will give you a straight answer.

This licence covers using the software. It does not limit what you may do with work you made while properly licensed: exports you made on a paid plan stay yours to use commercially even if you later cancel.

The service

The free tier is genuinely free. Pro adds unlimited Pro exports (HD and 4K video, full-size stills, true SVG, transparent output, Web Packs and PNG sequences), your own saved presets with sync, unlimited local projects with optional sync, and priority support, and it carries the commercial licence described above. We work hard to keep Ladybug fast and reliable, but it is provided as is, without warranties. We may improve, change, or retire features over time; we will not cripple things you rely on without notice.

Pro and billing

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. You can cancel anytime and keep Pro features until the end of the paid period. New purchases and accidental renewals are refundable within 14 days; see the refund policy. If we ever discontinue the service, remaining paid time is refunded.

Your account

Keep your sign-in email access secure; whoever controls the email controls the account. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. It closes at once, a paid plan is cancelled with no automatic refund, and everything the account owns is erased after 14 days. The privacy policy says exactly what is kept, and for how long.

Fair use

• Do not use Ladybug to break the law or to create content you have no rights to process.
• Do not attack, overload, reverse the billing of, or resell the service.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other people.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Since your work never leaves your device, you are responsible for keeping backups of your own files.

Age

You must be 13 or older to use Ladybug. If you are under 16, ask a parent or guardian before you say yes to advertising or journeys, and before you buy Pro.

Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there.

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will note it in the app before it takes effect.
